Thank you for supporting Feeding Joy. The following Donation Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all donations made through our website. By making a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not complete your donation.
1. Finality of Donations
All donations made to Feeding Joy are considered final. Once a donation is processed, it cannot be refunded, except as required by law.
2. Payment Processing
Donations can be processed securely through either Stripe or PayPal, both of which are industry-leading payment processors. By completing your donation, you consent to the use of your chosen payment method’s terms and conditions.
3. Donation Amounts
- Preset and Custom Amounts: We offer preset donation amounts ranging from $10 to $500, and you may also enter a custom donation amount.
- High-Value Donations: There is no maximum donation amount. However, for donations of $10,000 or more, please contact us directly at donations@feedingjoy.org so that we can provide personalized assistance.
4. Tax Deductibility
Donations made to Feeding Joy are fully tax deductible, as we are a registered non-profit organization. A receipt confirming your donation and its tax-deductible status will be emailed to you after checkout.
5. Use of Donations
Your donation helps support our stated charity partners—organizations with a proven track record of providing nutritious meals and vital services to children in need. While we direct your contribution to these partners, we do not guarantee a specific allocation of funds. Instead, donations are used in a manner that maximizes the positive impact on the communities we serve.
6. Donation Receipts
A donation receipt is automatically generated and emailed to you immediately after your transaction is completed. This receipt serves as proof of your tax-deductible contribution.
7. Mailing Donations
If you prefer to mail your donation, please follow the mailing instructions provided in the donation widget at checkout. When mailing a donation:
- Please ensure that you include any necessary details (e.g., donor name and contact information) as instructed.
- Your mailed donation will be processed in the order it is received.
- All mailed donations are subject to the same finality and processing terms as online donations.
8. Liability and Technical Issues
- Technical Issues: While we strive to provide a seamless donation process, Feeding Joy is not liable for any technical difficulties, errors, or interruptions that may occur during your donation process. We recommend that you retain any confirmation emails or receipts for your records.
- Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Feeding Joy, its directors, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, our donation services. You agree to assume full responsibility for any decisions made based on the information provided on our Site.
9. Changes to Terms
Feeding Joy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our donation services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
